Canon Ireland has announced it will join forces with Cantec Group today (17.01.23) to open the new Canon Business Centre Munster. Headquartered in Cork, CBC Munster will support businesses across the region by offering canon printer hardware, software, services and support.  CBC Munster will provide a centre of excellence and innovation for Canon products in southern Ireland, helping customers to print more securely, efficiently and sustainably.

The announcement marks a significant milestone for Cantec Group, as the new Canon Business Centre is the first of its kind in Ireland. CBC Munster will be ideally placed to help support the adoption of digital technologies by all businesses, which is a core target under the Irish Government’s National Digital Strategy.

It will offer advice to local businesses across Munster, providing them with tailored technology solutions to support their business needs and combine the expertise of a local and trusted reseller with the strength of Canon’s award-winning portfolio of products and solutions.

Based in Waterford, Cantec Group was established in 1994 as a photocopier dealership by the parents of CEO Greg Tuohy and executive chair Eadaoin Carrick. Since then, the business has grown with offices in Limerick, Mullingar, Dublin, and Cork to become a Canon Platinum partner and a recognised industry leader– delivering integrated hardware and software solutions.
