ESG Statement

Our culture and ethos have remained constant over the years. We aim to provide the best quality solutions and an outstanding service based on honesty and transparency that is supported by a highly responsive, locally based service network.

We instill these values in all our people, from the 20-year veterans to the newest recruits. Cantec Group customers are always looked after in the most respectful and professional manner possible. While our business has transformed completely since the early days, in line with industry trends, we remain committed to providing the same high level of support our loyal customers have grown used to.

Cantec Group remains conscious of the global climate crisis and has made sustainability a priority in line with this. As a proud supplier of UCC, a world leading Green Campus, our sustainable approach merged perfectly with UCC’s proactive, environmentally friendly ethos. By choosing remanufactured machines, through our EQ80 range, the procurement team at UCC clearly saw the environmental advantage gained in both increasing the product longevity and reducing the waste generated in manufacture by almost 80%. Cantec Group actively encourages these green practices and promotes a sustainable approach to printing throughout its customer base.

In recent years, we have also begun the upgrade of our fleet of 25 vehicles to the Nissan E-NV200, Hyundai Kona, Kia Nero and Peugeot 2008 electrically powered vehicles. This is currently saving up to 10,000 litres of diesel per year and dramatically cutting down on our carbon footprint. We have installed charging stations at each of our premises and have a target of zero emissions from our vehicle fleet by 2025.

As a partner of Canon, we contribute to their environmental management system (EMS) which has resulted in the combined achievement of consolidated ISO 14001 by Canon and its partners across 25 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. This has been achieved by applying environmental considerations to every aspect of the product lifecycle including design, development, purchasing of parts and materials, manufacturing, distribution, customer use, collection, and recycling. The following link to the EU Energy Star website: http://www.eu-energystar.org/euparticipants.htm verifies that Canon Europe Ltd is on the list of registered participants of the EU ENERGY STAR program with the European Commission and produces ENERGY STAR qualified products.
